The forms collect your name, email, optional phone number and area of interest, your message and the time of submission. We use them to respond to your request and arrange the next step with you. Please do not include payment details, identification documents or sensitive personal information.

Purpose and choice

Submitting a form is voluntary. Name, email and a message are needed to handle the enquiry. We rely on your consent to contact you about it; this does not subscribe you to marketing. You can withdraw that consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.

Access and storage

Enquiries are stored in the website’s private database and are available to the authorised GATULA administrator. Website hosting and security providers process the technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. Enquiries are automatically removed from this database after 180 days; daily backups are kept for seven days. Any later service agreement or email correspondence has its own record-keeping requirements.

Security and cookies

The enquiry system uses short-lived, hashed network identifiers to limit abuse. Administrator sign-in uses a necessary secure session cookie lasting up to eight hours. No advertising cookies are added by these forms, and submissions are not used for automated decisions.

You may request access, correction or deletion of your information, restriction of processing, or a portable copy where applicable. You can contact GATULA using the details above or the local contact form. You may also raise a concern with the Icelandic Data Protection Authority, Persónuvernd.
